How to Measure Your Bra Size

How to Measure Your Bra Size

Step 1: Measure the bust size

1) Take off the bra
2) Measure the bust size by leaning forward at a 45° angle, wrapping a soft tape measure around the fullest part of the breasts.
3) Stand upright with the soft tape measure against the base of the bust.
Make sure the tape is level and not too tight.
Step 2: Find the Cup Size
1) Calculate the Gap
Subtract your under - bust measurement from your upper - bust measurement. This difference is what determines your cup size. For example, if your upper - bust is 36 inches and your under - bust is 32 inches, the difference is 4 inches.
2) Match to the Cup
Here's how the differences usually match up with cup sizes:
If the difference is 1 inch, it's an A cup.
2 inches difference means a B cup.
3 inches is a C cup.
4 inches is a D cup.
5 inches gives you a DD (or E in some sizing systems) cup.
6 inches is a DDD (or F) cup.
